9/11 Mural

Here is the mural that I did for my husbands station for one of our friends that died on 9/11. This took me a few months to do so that I can make it as perfect as I can since it will be up on the wall in the fire house for many years. This is dedicated to our great friend Peter Brennan. I love him and miss him so much and wish he was still here cause we had such a great time together and made people laugh.

This painting took many steps to finish and to get done and approved by the guys at the fire house. I did a bunch of different drawings for them and showed them all to them at a meeting and then they decided to take a few designs from each of the drawings to come up with one. In the end it turned out great and they love. Next on the menu for me is to do there hulk emblem that they have for there patch that I also designed for them and paint it on the wall next to this one over a different door way. I LOVE doing murals that are big cause for some reason I can't do them small. I guess it gives me the freedom to express myself in a big way. As I start and finish the next mural I will ad it to here also.

A Drawing a Friend did of me

Here is a drawing that someone I know did of me from a photoshoot that a friend from work did of me. Let me tell you it was an experience that I will never forget and look forward to the next photoshoot with you Mike. And I would love to thank my husband for the support that he gave me through doing that photoshoot. That was the first time that i ever did one and it was awesome. I can not WAIT to get this. In a few weeks she will be mine and I will be able to take better pictures!!!!

My Boys

K, so I am a mother of three with them having four legs each. They are my babies and there names are Scooby, Scrappy and Augie. 2 Miniature Dapple Dachy's and an Italian Grey hound. These are my babies for now until I am ready to have a baby someday. But they will always be my boys. Later on I will add pictures to here when I get home.

Hello Everyone

Hey,
This is my first time that I am doing this blog thing and I am going to try my hardest to make this blog very interesting for everyone. As you can see I have a love for scrapbooking so most of my posts and pics will be about that. But, there might be a few other things on here about fire fighting since my husband volunteers here on the island. Plus I am very involved in the fire department taking lots of photos of everyone down there and the heroic activities that they do. So just bare with me as I try this whole thing out and prepare to work on it.
