I love the way the cemeteries "come alive" with flowers that leave marks of love and memories from loved ones. Recently a family friend shared a story about a discovery at her daughter's gravestone. Their daughter had been killed in a car accident in their driveway at a young age and for the past thirty plus years someone had remembered her and placed flowers. Every year her family would leave flowers but every year they were the second to arrive never knowing where the compassionate kindness was coming from. Well about three years ago they arrived at the cemetery just as the other family was leaving. The thoughtful act was from the babysitter who said she "was the last one to see the little girl alive and always felt like a special witness." Such a small act she had faithfully done for so many years and it meant so much to the other family.

Memorial Day GIVE AWAY

I will be celebrating the holiday with: first watching my husband march with his marching band in one parade and honoring all the men and women out there. Second, I will be going to watch our fire department march in another parade down the block from the one he is at. And third, I will be at a BBQ praying that it is going to be nice out for once. Oh before the BBQ I will be at the Fire house taking photos of the memorial service honoring those amazing people.

So there you have it, that is what I will b doin so now it is your turn to tell me what you are up to. (Oh, Yes I will be taking a break for ONE day and NOT (well try not to) do work on Monday). We all need one day to regroup. K off to do more work before I hit my fluff pillow. HEHE.

M&M Scrapbook…

Yes that is right an M&M scrapbook. I was busy this past weekend making this scrapbook for my FUTURE SISTER-IN-LAW (Yup sister-in-law that is right, Yippy my brother finally got engaged) who is a M&M nut. So what does that mean, well it was her birthday and I wanted to come up with something different and unique for her and of course had to do with a M&M, and BLUE. So trying to figure out how I was going to make a scrapbook that was a blue M&M was not that hard and I love the way it came out. Here are some pictures of the book and I hope that you enjoy it as much as she did and I did as well while making it.

Bo Bunny Rub-ons

Well i finally got a chance to use my bo bunny rub-ons that have my designs on them. HEHE sorry I am a little excited about it. So I did a couple of layouts to share with you and you can see how I use them on my layouts and to give you ideas. Enjoy!!!!!

Universal...

Still going with the Disney layouts!! LOL Sorry if you are tired of the Disney themed layouts but I really want to actually finish up on a vacation and scrap all the photos we took. Eventually I will be done with them but who knows when. But hey they are giving you ideas and inspiration I hope.

Now down to the details of the layout: I used on here four different papers with blue and green tones in them and punch a whole lot of circles out. Glued them down in a row on top of row pattern to get the over all look of the background. After they were put down then I trimmed the excess of the circles that were going over the edges to make a clean cut. I simply matted the photo with black paper and angled it on the sheet. (Sorry I like angles) but before i glued the photo down I used the circle photo frame from my etsy shop and instead of using it as a photo frame I used it as a corner accent. Added some bling to it and that part was done. Then I added the glitter letters to it and arranged them normally and side ways to have a little more fun with the layout. Well thats the story with the layout and I hope that you are inspired to try something different.

Some might say that my layouts never follow the same pattern and certain style but that is what I like that I have fun with all my layouts and like to try something different. Sorry but being an artist I love trying new things all the time and I am not afraid to play. So I hope you try different things and like doing crazy stuff. ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!
