For the question that everyone always asks: "how do you adhere your scrolls to layouts?" well i use glue dots, minis, and pull them apart so that I can fit them in the tiny spaces and the bigger areas. I do not put them all over the scrolls I just put them in certain spots so that areas are tacked down and that seems to work great for me. I use to use the Sailor ball glue pen so you can use that also but sometimes it dries to fast for me so I like the glue dots a lot. hope this helps.

Got me some goodies today!!!

HEHE yea I am a little excited. I got a nice package from Magistical Memories today of my new designs that I did and I am SUUUPPPPEEEERRRRR excited about them. Only bummer is that I had surgery last week on my right shoulder from a car accident that we had in November and I am in a sling and I can not play with the new chip board designs :-( But I will post some pics of them soon for you guys to see the new release and I am sure you will be as excited as I am about them. Very boyish designs and that is something that is lacking in the scrapbooking world so I thought about things that I wanted to scrap that my husband is involved in and I designed stuff around that and I am sure you will be excited cause it is stuff that little boys love and can get there hands into. Just waiting on the word that I can post pics. SO SO EXCITED. Hoping to get my arm out of this sling so that I can play. Many ideas rolling around in my head and I can't wait to put iit to use. So I will post photos soon. Check Back.

More layouts, I have been on a role this weekend…

Here is a layout that I did from when we went on a cruise around Manhattan with the Fire Department this summer. This is a very simple and easy layout. i just used a ton of scrolls from my etsy shop. I also used the adhesive paper ribbon from K&Company and used the reverse side of it and added glitter to it. i use the Martha Stewert glitter it is amazing and the range of colors that you get in the set is unbelievable. I used different ribbons from the collection and put the garnet glitter on one strip and then turquoise on the other ribbon and layered them. Also used were various flowers and stones from Prima Marketing, Center Kissed Round Sky. Love the variety that you get in the pack with the different sizes. Then I used My GelWriters pen to write a small title for the page, I got a great deal in Costco for the pens. I think it was ONLY $16.00 for a set of 85. Get them while you can cause the variety in there is amazing with the glitter, pearlized, neon and pastel. They are amazing.

BRAD PAISLEY Book
This book I did after my husband and I went to Hershey Park to go see Brad Paisley last year. i used acrylic and Chipboard books from Magistical Memories and also the star chipboard pieces from there also. Then I embellished it like crazy. LOTS of BLING!! Got to have bling on country things. Throughout the book you will see a few felt objects like the hat and and horse shoe, they are from Michael's dollar bins. I had bought them awhile back and thought to use them as a page in the book and it was pretty cool. Hope you enjoy all these as much as I have!!!
















UNIVERSAL BOOK
This book is made up of all photos of John and I from all the years that we have been going to Disney. I used a chipboard and acrylic book from Magistical Memories and all the Dino's are from there also. I just painted and inked the edges of them to add more dimension to them. i think the book came out great with all the various years that we have been going there.













In this layout I used a chipboard from Magistical Memories and painted it in black and then added Silver glitter paint to the top. also used in the layout is a scroll from my shop

My Munchkin layout

Here is a layout of my little stinky dinks (yea that is what we call him) Of course I used the new PRIMA felt and flipped it over and added the glitter to it also used scrolls from my shop as well. LOVE the way this came out with the green and the blues.
