Disney Vacation Layout

So, here we go again, another one down and I would say at least a thousand more to go. Yea that is probably really accurate and sad to say. i am such a picture nut that I have so many photos to scrapbook and STILL working on my Disney photos from May and also ones from 2 years ago. Plus I only have a few done from the Bahamas last year. Oh BOY do I ever get cought up??? The answer is no.

Yes I am using my scrolls on this layout to. So check them out at my etsy shop and you could be using them on your layouts soon. yea sorry have to put a plug in for the shop. Hey everyone else does why can't I. Well guess what I DID!!!!!!!! LOL well enjoy the layout.

Another Layout

I'm on a roll with doin layouts lately. I guess with the new year coming up and I told myself that I want to get more layouts done and have some more me time and getting this done, that I do believe i will get a lot done this year. YAHOO. See here is a layout that I did that is very easy and simple. I used one of the scrolls from my etsy shop so you can see how I use them on layouts and get a few ideas. Thanks for looking and enjoy.

Oversized biz Cards

WOW this is crazy, but I had a lot of fun. So I got some amazing papers from an amazing person and was able to use them to design what I wanted to with them. So, I thought and thought and thought and finally came up with doin oversized biz cards for myself and my etsy shop. So with every order that is placed you will get one of these and you will see for yourself how amazing the cards are. (If you would like some designed for yourself you can email me or convo me at my etsy shop). So i have made a ton of these and have a lot more to go. But it feels great to design stuff again. Lots of new things coming to my etsy shop soon so look out.

New Layouts

Finally I have had some down time and have been able to do a few new layouts!!!!!!!!!!!! Yahoo!!!! yes i am excited about it cause it has been awhile since I have been able to sit down and do some scrapbooking for myself!! In the layouts you will see that I used some of my scrolls that I am selling on my etsy site, so take a look at what you can do and then stop on over to the site.

Santa Ride Around - 12/22/07

Well.....
it has been a VERY busy last few months and in the photos you will be able to see what I have been up to and why I have been neglecting my scrapbooking. Well my husband is a Lieut. in the Fire department and well since I am an artist and his wife I am always that one that they ask to do the artistic stuff down at there station. (TRUST ME I DO NOT MIND, I LOVE PAINTING BIG SO I REALLY DID HAVE A LOT OF FUN) So since I would say October I have been painting these boards to go on there fire trucks for there annual santa ride around. I have put in at least eight hours a day plus at least an extra few hours at night to get this done and I am so thrilled with the final look of these boards. So I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I did tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Colored pencil drawing of duck

Here is a colored pencil drawing that I did that is so detailed and the feeling of it is amazing cause it does not feel like it is done by colored pencil. It is so smooth and you judt really have to feel and see it up close to get the whole feeling of this drawing. There is so much detail in the drawing that it actually looks like it is real. Sometimes when your heart is in the right place and it is the right time you can produce some of your most amazing pieces of art. Sorry I am not being stuck up about myself but it is the truth. Sometimes you try so hard at something that it just does not work out and then there are times when you just go for it and 1 2 3 you have an amazing piece of work. So as I have said in my earlier post as well this is also up for sale. Patrick Nagel Painting of lady - Original by me

Here is another painting that I did that is the style of Patrick Nagel. I did this awhile back before I was married and in art school. I love this painting so much because Iof the fsct that I did it clean cut unlike my usual paintings where I am more free with my style. I love painting and I have an urge to do another painting and have everything waiting for me to do it. And I will be doin it a little diferent from hom I normally paint and I am going to be painting the painting with my fingers and hands and no brush. It is an idea I have and want to see it through. So as soon as I get that one done I will post it up on here as well. Also this acrylic painting of the lady is also for sale as well as the other one that I posted. American Eagle Head Acrylic Painting

Here is a painting that I did a few years back of the American eagle head. This painting is very large measuring at 32"x40" on black matt board. I absolutely love this painting cause it was on impulse to paint it and when I have an impulse to do something my mind is set to do it and normally I do come out with some of my best work. But the said thing that I do have to say is that I am selling this painting. :-( I am going to be very said to see this go cause I do love it. But there are times in our lives when we do have to let go of somethings.
